coffeeShort Courses drawn from the Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media) CUF20107 &  are suited to students who have the desire to work in a community broadcasting environment but do not have the time to committ to a full certificate course.  Students can progressively build up Statements of Attainment to achieve a full certificate or skill up in just one area. 

 

CUF20107 Certificate II in Creative Industries (Media) CUF20107 is suited to students who have the desire to work in a community broadcasting environment but have no prior experience. The qualification provides foundation skills for new entrants to the industry.  It can also provide experienced staff with the opportunity to further develop their skills and gain a formal qualification.

Certificate III in Media CUF30107 is designed for people wanting to work, or develop their skills, as radio program makers/presenters, editing/production assistants, interactive media authors or camera/lighting assistants. It reflects the role of a skilled operator in the film, television, radio or digital media industries who applies a broad range of competencies in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge.

teacherCertificate IV in Screen and Media CUF 40107 is tailored for people wishing to work as, or develop skills, as radio/television producers or presenters, production co-ordinators, animation and visual effects designers, digital artists and professional camera/lighting operators. The course reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts in the film, television, radio and digital media industries. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
