nicola-josephNicola Joseph is the CEO of the Community Media Training Organisation. Thirty years of media experience has seen Nicola work as a journalist, producer, executive producer and presenter at ABC Radio National and SBS Radio. She has been station manager of SBS Radio in Sydney. In community radio, she has worked at 4ZZZ, 2SER and Radio Skid Row as well as the CBAA and NEMBC. In 2003, she won the Michael Law Award for her contribution to the community broadcasting sector. Nicola has been a media trainer at radio stations around Australia, in the Pacific and in Asia. giordana_caputoGiordana Caputo is the CMTO National Training Manager. An experienced broadcaster, producer, journalist and trainer, Giordana was a long-term worker and management team member of Brisbane’s 4ZZZ where she managed community development and training projects aimed at empowering and engaging marginalised groups through the media. She has also produced content for a range of media organisations including FBi, 4ZZZ, SBS Radio, Rave Magazine, The Australian Ballet and Media Monitors Australia. Isobel Deane
has volunteered in community radio since 2000, broadcasting on Tune FM in Armidale and Radio Skid Row in Sydney. Isobel was a program producer for Stellar Inflight Radio for QANTAS, and has worked with voiceover artists in Sydney and Melbourne for EM Voices. Isobel has experience working in sound studios and post-production in film and TV. She is currently studying for her Graduate Certificate in Arts Management. She is hip to metadata and digital media. Paris Pompor is a part-time member of the CMTO's adminstrative team and can be contacted Mondays and Fridays regarding training. He comes to the CMTO with many years experience in Australia’s community radio sector, including  presenting long-running weekly programs in Sydney on 2SER, FBi and Eastside Radio, as well as SBS Radio (Alchemy).
